A Wee Look Back: Birth Debrief

This is an opportunity to share your birth story and be listened to in a safe, non-judgemental and trauma informed space. It is also an opportunity to identify any traumas or triggers and to begin the healing journey.

The birth debrief can be particularly helpful if you have experienced a traumatic birth or have unresolved emotions from your birth. which are impacting your emotional wellbeing.

There is no best time to have a debrief, you can reach out to me at any time whether it be weeks or years after.

This is essentially a listening service designed to allow you to tell your story. But not only that we will look at how any unresolved emotions are showing up for you today as well as what your life would look like if those unresolved emotions no longer impacted you. This unique and structured approach helps you to see a way forward and importantly begins to create new pathways within your brain, aiding the healing process and bringing relief.

These sessions are suitable for any aspect of perinatal trauma - so antenatal, birth related or postnatal (including feeding). Unfortunately this type of debrief is not suitable for those who have sadly experienced baby loss, however I can certainly signpost you to a more suitable service. You may also want to consider more extensive therapy or other support, and again I can signpost.

This can take place in person or online - if you would prefer to use another location, this can be arranged at an additional cost (it must be a private space).

The session will be 90 minutes, we will take things at your pace to make sure you feel heard and held, broadly speaking we will look at covering the following (though we can book another session if this feels needed):
